I'm glad to have my new website up and running! It feels good to return to a corner of the internet more reminiscent of its earlier vibes and culture (^_^)

SOCIAL MEDIA

I know this isn't exactly a hot take: I think social media is dividing us, reducing our attention spans and critical thinking skills, and calling journalistic integrity into deep question. We're going to have to seriously reevaluate humanity's relationship with technology if we're going to move forward in a constructive way.

I deleted my FB that I'd had since middle school. It feels good to de-integrate a little bit, even if they keep my data on the back-end.

I'm keeping my IG for now to share my art, but I'm now a desktop-only user! I think I'm going to lay off joining any more social media platforms in order to keep myself feeling healthy. A classic blog like this feels better-suited to me, anyway! (>w<)b

ARTIST RADAR

Music has been slower for me this past year, but I'm still working on it!

I want to release Vol. 2 of "love letters" sometime next month. I have a couple of tracks ready, but I want to do 2 more to keep the volumes comparably-sized.

"LOVE FOR YOUR LIFE" (the album for which "STRANGER IN MY COFFIN" will be the first track) is going to be a longer-term project I work on between smaller ones. Big albums are kinda stressful, especially if I'm going to try presenting a narrative! To keep myself making music, it's important I try to take the longer projects more easily (;>_<) I hope you'll enjoy listening when the album is ready!
